As an important basic process equipment in product manufacturing, the mold industry level is an important indicator to measure the level of a country's manufacturing industry, and is an important support for manufacturing product optimization and industrial upgrading. If there is no high-level mold, there will be no high-level parts manufacturing, let alone the diversity of industrial products and consumer products. How to make the "mother of industry" a "benefit amplifier" is an important topic of "Made in China" today. According to statistics from the China Die & Mould Industry Association, the organizer of the exhibition, in 2016, China's mold market reached 223 billion yuan, supporting approximately 25 trillion yuan in the manufacturing of related products. The mold industry has turned "Made in China" to "Made in China". The transformation has played a huge role, and the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry also provides a huge room for development for the mold industry.

       Statistics show that in 2016, the amount of molds used in China's automobile industry reached 68 billion yuan, about 100 new models were launched throughout the year, and more than 200 new models were partially replaced. 95% of the auto parts were developed by molds; the amount of molds used in the home appliance industry was 17 billion 90% of home appliance parts are mould parts; the consumption of moulds in the electronic information manufacturing industry represented by smartphones is 80 billion yuan, and 80% of parts are mould parts. According to reports, there are nearly 1,000 exhibitors in this exhibition, from nearly 20 countries and regions including Switzerland, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Italy, and France. Half of the exhibitors are Chinese companies. The relevant exhibits show that China's mold industry is maintaining steady development.
